After watching Tiger Woods sink that putt to win on the 72 hole at the Arnold Palmer Invitational only one thought came to mind…
He’s going to win the Slam.
Tiger Woods is going to win the Slam in 2008. His reaction in winning on Sunday said it all. As he watched the 24 foot putt slip into the hole, he was already in his trademark Tiger victory strut. What typically comes next, after the putt drops, is the patented Tiger Woods fist pump. But this time what came instead was a new move, forever to be known as the Tiger Slam. The Tiger Hat Slam, to be more accurate. Because the excitement Tiger showed in winning that tournament, showed he’s got the drive to win them all this year. The passion to win the Grand Slam of golf majors. So keep an eye on Tiger in 2008, because this is going to be the year that he finally wins all of them in the same calendar year. And whatever you do, don’t bet against Tiger Woods in 2008.
