NFL Week 17 Picks

I’d like to apologize the legions of my loyal readers.  I was out of the country for a couple weeks and thanks to O’Hare and a faulty router, I was unable to get my picks online last week.  No excuses.  I actually did better than .500, but for the sake of integrity, I’ll list all of last week’s games as a push and give a load of juice to the gambling gods.  224-198-38 on the season.  Just about even for the year, little above.  Week 17 is funky…

Patriots at Giants +14 - (46.5) - Under

The Pats can make history and not cover.  This should be boring. 

Bills +7.5 at Philly (37) - Over

For the most part, the Bills have been kind to old coach this year.

Carolina at Tampa Bay +3  (36) - Under

Ugly.  Ugly.  Ugly.  Does anyone think the Bucs will do any damage in the playoffs?

Cincy at Miami +2.5 (46.5) - Under

Total seems astronomically high.  Moneyline the Dolphins.  You don’t hear that every day.

Detroit +4 at Green Bay (39.5)  - Over

Blah.

Jacksonville +6.5 at Houston (41) - Over

Classic week 17 game.   Guess I’ll take the points.

Seattle +1 at Atlanta (3 - Under

Think the Falcons are ready for the season to be over?

San Fran at Cleveland -10 (40) - Over

A game that matters, finally.  Cleveland gets angry.  Leaving their fate in Vince’s hands.

New Orleans at Chicago +2 (40) - Over

Too cold for the Saints.  Another yawner.

Dallas +9 at Washington (39) - Over

Washington wins and gets in the playoffs, but that’s too many points.  In Brad we trust.

Pittsburgh at Baltimore +3.5 (35) - Over

Simple.

Vikings at Denver +3 (42) - Over

Mile High makes the difference.

San Diego at Oakland +8 (43) - Over

Play the total with confidence.

St. Louis at Arizona -5.5 (4 - Under

Ugly.   Yuck.  Ugly.

Vince and the Titans at Indy +7 (39) - Over

Game of the week.  Vince and the Titans make the playoffs, but they don’t cover.  And Cleveland wept.

Why is The Shark marrying Chris Evert?

So the word on the streets is that former golf great Greg Norman (aka: The Shark) is engaged to marry former tennis great Chris Evert. The question on everyone’s mind is WHY?

No doubt Chris Evert was a babe in her heyday. And even today she looks great for her age (52), and probably has a cool personality. But Norman is a 52 year old man, with a full head of hair, who’s worth 1/2 a billion dollars. Let me say that again, The Shark is a pretty good looking dude who’s worth $500 Million dollars. So why is he marrying someone his same age? And if he just got out of a 25 year marriage, why is he planning to wed again so quickly?

Greg, please go out and bang every hot piece of ass you can find. And if you were a troll, you could buy any chick you wanted. And don’t even think about marriage for another 10+ years. Live the goodlife, party with P Diddy and 50. Drink Cristal out of a supermodels navel while you cruise the French Riviera for more hot models to bang. Just live baby!

Okay, I need someone to explain this to me because obviously I can’t understand it. Again, I’m sure Chris Evert is a great lady (notice I said “lady” and not chick or girl…there’s that age thing again), and maybe she even let’s him invite hot chicks in for threesomes. But still, why get married again so quickly? It just doesn’t make any sense to me.

Marisa Miller…half naked!

So, who saw the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show the other night?

As fantastic as it may have been, especially in HD, there was a glaring hole in the coverage (no pun intended).

Where the hell was Marisa Miller?  She got all of about 5 seconds of airtime!

I thought she was one of the big 4 or 5 girls.  Right after Heidi, Alessandra, Adriana and just ahead of Selita Ebanks and Miranda Kerr.

She must be in the doghouse for something.  Some have said that she might have gotten too fat, but these pics shoot that down.  These were taken at the fitting, and you’ll see that this was the one outfit we actually saw her in on TV.

Maybe she doesn’t do runway well.  Maybe she can’t walk in heels?

I just felt like something was taken away from me.

Which Spice Girl is Hottest?

I’m sure that was a popular question in the 1990’s when the Spice Girls first came out to fame. And now with their reunion tour started I’m bringing it back. So I ask the question which Spice Girl is the hottest?

I must admit that I’ve never been much of a Spice Girls fan. I heard their “Girl Power” songs in the 90’s and was not interested. But today my AIM opened an AOL browser, where I caught a glimpse of the picture below of the Spice Girls recently. And I must admit it peaked my interest. It got me wondering who was the hottest Spice Girl?

First I’m going to eliminate Scary Spice & Sporty Spice, because I don’t think either has ever really been in contention for hottest Spice Girl. And I figured prior to doing a Google image search that Victoria Beckham is the hottest Spice Girl. But after doing some research…I changed my opinion.

I like Victoria Beckham’s look from a few years back. Long, dark hair is a better look for Posh.

Before you ask, I have no idea who she is.

She’s an Italian actress, 23 years old, and hot as hell.

Per Wikipedia “Stella made her movie debut in 2001 in L’ultimo bacio. In the next couple years she appeared in several more Italian films, including Un amore perfetto in 2002 with Cesare Cremonini of Lunapop. Her film career has also included a small role in the 2004 Hollywood movie Ocean’s Twelve.”

If she was in Ocean’s Twelve, you can pretty much assume that George Clooney and Brad Pitt had everything to do with the casting choices. They’re not idiots.
