The Wimbledon Fashion Show
Posted by Belushi on June 30, 2007
Wimbledon has a long tradition as one of the best tennis tournaments in the World. It is one of the 4 major tennis tournaments. And is known as much for the great traditions, as it is for the play on the court. Breakfast at Wimbledon with strawberries and cream. The famous grass courts. And perhaps the most famous tradition, players at Wimbledon are required to wear all white.
So let’s take a look at that great tradition. And break down some of the finer, all white, outfits from Wimbledon 2007:

Andy Roddick is fired up about his white Lacoste tennis outfit for Wimbledon.

Tennis superstar Roger Federer looked sharp in his uber fancy Wimbledon whites. Although I’m not sure how you play tennis with slack and a jacket.

Carlos Moya with the sleeveless t-shirt and barbed wire tattoo. This is not a good look for Wimbledon, tennis or life in-general. Carlos, please find some sleeves to cover up the tat.

Foxy tennis champ Maria Sharapova looking beautiful in her Wimbledon whites.

Here Sharapova catches a cooling breeze, that pops up her skirt to show off her bloomers.

The talk of Wimbledon 2007 has been French tennis player, Tatiana Golovin, and her red knickers (aka: underwear). Many thought the red panties were in violation of Wimbledon’s “white only” dress code. But the policy on undergarments is they can be any color, as long as they are not longer than the skirt. Tatiana was quoted as saying, “For these two weeks, it is going to be red. Then it is a suprise for after.” Yummy, I like surprises.

One more of Tatiana Golovin, a media star for wearing red underwear at Wimbledon.

Serena Williams showing off her white underwear at Wimbledon.

Ana Ivanovic’s Wimbledon whites shows off her stomach.

Daniela Hantuchova rocked a tight, white mini outfit at Wimbledon.

Last year’s most talked about tennis outfit was Bethanie Mattek, who stirred up Wimbledon with her offbeat look.

Finally, Emmanuelle Gagliardi shows grace and style at Wimbledon…by proving that underwear can be difficult to keep out of your ass. And tennis skirts are not quite long enough to hide your butt.
Do you like Tatiana Golovin’s red knickers?
